Board of Directors

We are very grateful for our Directors who volunteer their time and talent to lead and guide the Raphael Health Center. As a Board, they are mission-driven, demonstrate excellent decision-making ability, skills, business experience, personal integrity, and reputation.The Directors are responsible for the oversight of Raphael’s Health Center Program project, and for ensuring that the clinic complies with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Board meets monthly to assure that Raphael is organized and at all times operated in a manner consistent with its charitable mission and its status as an Indiana nonprofit corporation and tax-exempt charitable organization, and as a Federal Qualified Health Center under the Department of Health and Human Services. This also includes oversight of the financial status and health of the Center, the Quality Measures for Health Outcomes, as well as assuring that the Mission, Vision, Values, and Standards are the focus of Raphael’s strategy and daily operations.

The Board is comprised of patients and community members who serve as volunteers and are not compensated for their services.

Community support is vital to Raphael Health Center’s mission of delivering the best health care possible.
